(Another illustration post...) As far as I'm concerned, Kris has really made a break through with this!
I understand that this illustration has been taking the Internet by storm.. and I realise you're likely to have already seen it. But, when I came across it at the weekend, I grinned to myself like a Cheshire cat. I relate oh so very well.. There's nothing worse than having an interfering character muttering those words, 'Cheer up Love!'
Equally as irritating; when friends or acquaintances instruct one to 'SMILE!' An occasion which always leads to a polite grimace and a nauseated feeling.

Grr i always get this when I'm out or waiting on friends.. whats with the long face love? Its like oh would you prefer for me to sit here grinning away like a looney ..lol!

ReplyDeleteHeh, chronic bitch face. I know of some people with this affliction, but in my secret opinion, I think it's because they are like that on the inside too. Whoop!

A complete stranger told me to smile on a sidewalk in NYC. I thought to myself, "He has no idea what my situation is. What if I had just heard some bad news, or something awful had just happened in my life?" People really should think before they speak!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, love the art work!! :)
HAHA I love this! I have the opposite. I would smile at the wall. I know a lot of people with chronic bitch face, but once they start talking, they're actually nice. Approaching them is quite scary though haha.

ReplyDeleteoh this is so perfect! I can't tell you how many times I've gotten that comment - or its "You look so tired..." when I'm just walking down the office hallway. I've been wearing more pink and yellow to help combat those comments:) This is adorable and it's the first time I saw it!
ReplyDeleteLove these ilustrations! I'm going to check the web just right now!
