Saturday at the Seaside.
A couple of weekends ago now, I mentioned a trip to Norfolk. The sea air was crisp and fresh, a lot cleaner than London air! I didn't touch the computer once and it felt really nice to leave the digital world at home for a few days.
I have a totally nostalgic views of Norfolk, especially the coast. I think of clean sea air, friendly faces and lovely fresh crabs. Nights are spent with board games and wine and I always sleep rather well as there is no glare of streetlights seeping into the room.
As a child, our summer holidays led us to Norfolk a lot of the time. As a grown up, I still think one of those holidays would be nice. I came across this tiny cottage which only sleeps two. The bedroom doubles as a breakfast room and it's only a few strides from the beach. Ah, take me to the seaside.

It sounds like bliss.
ReplyDeleteYes! Isn't it everyone's dream to live by the sea? Definitely one of mine. Sounds so dreamy. Since I've just moved to the US west coast from my New York roots, I can't wait to explore the Oregon coast this summer.
ReplyDeleteThat little table setup is the sweetest :)
ReplyDeleteThe little cottage mentioned is Starboard Cottage and I offer short breaks all year round. I know I am biased, because it's mine, but it really is a dream cottage. You'll find more pictures at www.starboardcottage.com
