Ah, this Friday started well as I was, very kindly, awarded a versatile blogger award by Kendra over at Piece of Cake. Peace of Mind.
So, here are seven things about me:
1.) The thing I need to work on is being on time, I am frequently late which is an infuriating character trait.
2.) I could watch the film 'Julie and Julia' over and over again, it's my guiltiest pleasure.
3.) I must learn how and when to say no to a glass of wine; my inability to refuse wine is both part of my charm and demise.
4.) I have perfected the art of poaching an egg, but am dying to learn how to make a the absolute perfect cup of tea and perfect cup of coffee (I practice everyday.)
5.) It is very important to treat yourself once in a while, I just got a pair of silk shorts to congratulate myself on a new job. I felt guilty about it, until my friend reminded me that I deserved them.
6) I love grocery shopping, (although I loathe Tesco) and buying things to cook for other people.
7.) My best advice - hit delete on all your negative thoughts, they drag you down.

I just stumbled upon your blog from Jemma's Frontier-Magic :) I enjoy it very much and want to say that I share your obsession with Julie & Julia and especially hot tea. It is a mystery that my friends are never quite able to fathom but I can't go through a day if there is no flood of tea in it.
