Mug Cosy

I have just completed my first knitting project - a mug cosy!
I must accredit all inspiration to Spring Greens after seeing hers, here.

It really was easy to make, although took a long time, I wanted to make every stitch neat! But it's just knit stitch with a couple of buttons either end. I might make a couple more and hand them out like party favours to anyone who wants them.

I want to make an apple cosy next, if anyone has a pattern, or knows how to make one, please do enlighten me!

  2. That is so incredibly adorable! I love it! So far, I'm only tried knitting scarves and beanies, but I can't believe I haven't tried this before! The buttons you added make it look all the more adorable!

  3. How sweet, I love your mug cosy. How nice your are learning to knit and this is delightful first project. I tried this when I was young and wish I had kept it going but I caved being a busy working mom. Keep it going, someday you'll be happy you did!
